This Privacy Policy explains how Luqway, operated by Mohammad Luqman, referred to as “Luqway”, “we”, “us” or “our”, collects, uses, shares, stores and protects information when you use the Luqway mobile application, website and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, Luqway may collect the following types of information:

• Contact information: passenger name, mobile number and optional email address.
• Booking information: origin, destination, travel date, bus operator, selected seats, boarding point, dropping point, fare, booking status and booking history.
• Account information: profile details, account identifiers and saved preferences when account features are enabled.
• Payment-related information: transaction amount, payment status, refund details, cashback details or wallet records when payment features are enabled.
• Technical information: app version, device information, app identifiers, internet protocol address, diagnostic information, crash logs and security-related information.
• Support information: messages, complaints and other details you provide when contacting Luqway support.

Luqway does not intend to store your full debit card or credit card number, CVV, UPI PIN, banking password or other confidential payment credentials.

2. Location Information

The current version of Luqway does not require continuous or background precise location access for normal bus-ticket booking.

If a future Luqway feature requires location access, the app will request the necessary permission and provide an appropriate in-app disclosure before collecting or using location information.

3. How We Use Information

Luqway may use collected information for the following purposes:

• To search available buses and routes.
• To allow passengers to select seats and boarding points.
• To create, confirm and manage bus-ticket bookings.
• To display ticket, passenger and journey information.
• To contact users regarding booking confirmations, changes, cancellations, refunds or customer support.
• To process payments and maintain transaction records when payment services are enabled.
• To prevent fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, security incidents and technical problems.
• To improve the performance, reliability, design and functionality of Luqway.
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes or government requirements.

4. How We Share Information

Luqway may share information only when reasonably necessary with the following categories of recipients:

• Bus operators and booking partners to confirm, issue and manage your journey or ticket.
• Technology service providers providing cloud hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, notifications, crash reporting, security, communication or customer-support services.
• Payment processors when you choose to make a payment or request a refund.
• Government or legal authorities when disclosure is required by applicable law, court order or legal process.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, legal advisers or auditors where reasonably necessary.

Luqway does not sell your personal information.

5. Firebase and Google Services

Luqway may use Google Firebase or other Google services for database storage, authentication, hosting, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, security and app functionality.

These service providers may process technical and service information under their own privacy terms and under applicable service-provider arrangements.

6. Payment Services

When payment functionality is enabled, payments may be handled by an independent payment gateway or financial service provider.

Payment providers may collect and process information necessary to complete transactions, prevent fraud and comply with financial regulations.

7. Data Storage and Security

Luqway uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

However, no website, mobile application, database or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

Information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and maintain Luqway services.
• Complete and manage bookings.
• Maintain transaction and accounting records.
• Resolve disputes and customer-support requests.
• Prevent fraud and misuse.
• Comply with tax, legal and regulatory requirements.

Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized or securely restricted.

Depending on applicable law, you may request:

Certain booking, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute or legal records may be retained when applicable law requires or permits retention.

10. Children’s Privacy

Luqway is not designed for independent use by children under 13 years of age.

A parent, guardian or responsible adult should make bookings involving a child. Luqway does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Luqway may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, transport operators, payment providers or other services.

Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Luqway is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

Luqway may update this Privacy Policy when the application, services, data practices or legal requirements change.
